Repower Townsville Summit

Join 100-150 high school students from across Townsville at a two-day Repower Townsville Summit. Students will learn about climate science, climate impacts and how they can lead the transition to renewable energy in their school and community.

Tuesday 7th May and Wednesday 8th May, 8.30am - 2.30pm both days.

Morning tea and lunch provided.

High school students in years 7-12 are invited, with places available for 10-15 students from each school to attend.

Climate change impacts are being felt right now - from floods, storms, burshfores and heatwaves, impacting regional and remote communities first and worst. But young people have the solutions, and are already leading the switch to clean energy powered by the wind and sun.

Come along to the Repower Townsville Summit to hear from inspiring speakers on the front line of climate change, meet other young change makers and build skills to run campaigns to transition to 100% renewable energy.
